What you can do in this project:

  • Learn about different breeds and how to select a rabbit
  • Feeding, care, and handling of rabbits
  • Show a rabbit at the fair

Grades: 3-13

Cost: Cost needed to procure a rabbit (usually $20-$50), cage, and grooming tools

Equipment Needed: Rabbit, cage, feeding, and grooming tools. Project leaders can assist youth in procuring a rabbit.  Youth may begin the project without a rabbit, but should obtain one by March.
