Congratulations to Rebecca G., the new Miss Ozaukee 4-H 2025, and Jacob C., the new Mr. Ozaukee 4-H 2025! Being named Miss and Mr. Ozaukee 4-H is an honor recognizing outstanding leadership, dedication to 4-H, and a commitment to serving as ambassadors for the program throughout the year.
Rebecca, a senior in high school, is a nine-year member of the Lindenwood 4-H Club, where she has explored numerous projects, including Sewing, Photography, Dogs, Wood-burning, and more. She has served in various leadership roles, including Vice President and Treasurer, and is a youth leader for Crocheting, Dogs, and Wood-burning. Rebecca credits the dog project with teaching her patience and persistence, skills she applies as a leader and mentor. She is actively involved in club, county, and state 4-H events, from the Ozaukee County Fair to Adventure Camp, while balancing her passions for choir, piano, and caring for the elderly.
Jacob, a sophomore at Port Washington High School, is a 10-year member of the Cloverleaf 4-H Club with a focus on Foods, Gardening, Creative Writing, and more. He has held leadership roles as Historian and Executive Board member and is a youth leader for Tie Dying and Gardening. Jacob is a dedicated participant in 4-H activities, including Fall Forum and the Wisconsin State Fair, and is active in the Ozaukee 4-H Haunt. He highlights how the Clothing project taught him independence and confidence, breaking stereotypes along the way. His experience on the American Spirit Trip inspired him to push out of his comfort zone, leading to his selection as Mr. Ozaukee 4-H.
In their roles, Rebecca and Jacob will inspire and encourage 4-H members while representing Ozaukee County 4-H at events and celebrations.
