Details & Registration

Audience: Youth in grades 5K-2nd grade.

Program Design: The program will meet every other week on Tuesdays from January 13 through February 24. It includes four Zoom sessions with activities that will be completed together and some follow-up activities that can be completed after the meeting.

Program Outcome: Through these activities, youth will begin to learn:

  • Project Skills – those hands-on skills related to what youth can do. For example, in a foods and nutrition project, they might learn how to measure or mix ingredients.
  • Life Skills – personal skills related to who or how youth want to be. For example, in that same Foods and Nutrition project, they might learn patience as they wait for a dish to bake or set up or they might learn generosity as they prepare food as a gift for someone else.

Registration: Registration is free using 4HOnline. Registration will be open for youth in grades 5K-2 from October 30-November 16th. Space is limited, a wait list will be available.

Kit Cost: $5.00 kit fee per session (one kit per youth).

  • Note: If you build your own kit, material list will be emailed to you.
  • Kits will be available from Extension office in early 2026. Families will be notified when to pick-up kits.
