Ozaukee 4-H Offers New Countywide Projects

New Countywide 4-H Projects

Ozaukee County 4-H is excited to introduce four new countywide projects this year: Dance, Veterinary Science, Adventure, and Photography. These projects reflect the wide range of interests among our youth and the strong volunteer support that makes growth like this possible.

The new countywide projects strengthen connections across clubs and expand what is possible through 4-H in Ozaukee County. They also highlight the dedication of the volunteers who lead them. Their time, expertise, and commitment are creating meaningful opportunities for youth and helping shape a strong future for 4-H across the county.

Interested in Joining One of These New Opportunities?

If your child is interested in joining either project at the countywide level, please contact your Club’s General Leader. They’ll help connect you with the project leader, who can share details about upcoming meetings and activities.

Also please contact the Extension office to have the project(s) added to your child’s 4HOnline profile.

Dance

The Dance project offers members an opportunity to explore movement, rhythm, and creative expression while building confidence and teamwork. Youth will develop skills in technique and choreography in a welcoming environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration.

Veterinary Science

Veterinary Science opens the door to learning about animal health, care, and science-based practices. Members will explore anatomy, wellness, and potential career paths while gaining a deeper understanding of responsible animal stewardship. Volunteer leaders bring valuable knowledge and enthusiasm that help connect curiosity to real-world applications.

Adventure

The Adventure project is designed for youth who thrive on hands-on learning and new experiences. Through outdoor activities and group challenges, members will build leadership, problem-solving skills, and resilience. Volunteers guide youth through experiences that promote personal growth, teamwork, and appreciation for the outdoors.

Photography

Photography gives members the chance to slow down and see the world from a new perspective. Youth will learn camera basics, composition, and visual storytelling while developing creativity and patience. Supportive volunteers help members grow their skills and confidence behind the camera.
