Countywide Dog Project
What you can do in this project:
- Learn the basics of caring for your dog
- Showmanship
- Obedience
- Rally Obedience
- Agility
- Participate in County competitions including Obedience and Showmanship
- Participate in State competitions including Obedience, Rally Obedience, Showmanship, Dog Quiz Bowl, and Agility
Ages:
Grades 3-13
Cost:
The board will determine whether there will be a fundraiser or dues set at the beginning of the year.
Equipment Needed:
- 6′ leather leash, a choke collar (not a prong) and a show lead
- Sit…Stay…Come…to the Dog Project Meeting!

January 5, 2026
Meeting Location:
Show Arena at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds, Cedarburg, WI.
Meeting Dates and Times:
Group 1- 6:30-7:15 pm.; Group 2- 7:30-8:15 pm. ;
The first few weeks, all members should NOT bring their dogs, they will be learning about the required vaccinations for their dog and the required equipment. Please watch for emails as to when you will be bringing your dogs to the meeting.

- Summer Training dates below, the meetings will be held at the Fairgrounds Picnic Gazebo from 6:00-7:30 pm. (Dates subject to change based on State Dog Show)
