4-H LivestockCOUNTYWIDE LIVESTOCK ASSOCIATION

Purpose of the Livestock Association:

  • Members enrolled in beef, sheep, or swine projects may choose to also join the Livestock Association
  • The group meets regularly to conduct educational programs
  • Youth have the opportunity to show their animals at the County Fair or at other events
  • Members can become Youth Representatives of the Livestock Association
  • The Livestock Association plans and conducts the 4-H Livestock Sale at the County Fair

Grades: 3-13

Cost: Varies

Equipment Needed: Depends on the level of involvement.  Youth do not need to have access to an animal to participate.

2022-2023 Dates: 7:00-9:00pm on the following dates

  • September 19, 2022
  • November 21, 2022
  • January 16, 2023
  • March 20, 2023
  • May 22, 2023
  • June 19, 2023 (Fitting meeting)
  • July 31, 2023 (Fairgrounds clean up & meeting, 6:30pm)
