Countywide Rabbit Hopping Project

What you can do in this project?

• Learn about rabbit agility
• Learn about different rabbit hopping events:
  • Straight Line Course
  • Crooked Course
  • High Jump
  • Long Jump
• Participate in demonstrations
• Participate in state competitions

Ages:

Grades 3-13

Cost:

Members may incur costs related to owning a rabbit

Equipment Needed:

• “H” style harness
• 6′ lead
• Minimum of (2) 3 ft x 8 ft og freen grass carpet
• Minimum of (3) practice jumps

2025-2026 Meeting Dates 

• January 26th from 7-8 pm.
• February 23rd from 7-8 pm.
• April 20th from 6:30-8 pm.
• May 18th from 6:30-8 pm.
• June 29th from 6:30-8 pm.
• July 13th from 6:30 -7:30 pm.

* Wisconsin State Fair Open Rabbit Hopping Show is August 10th and 11th for youth ages 7-19.
